To Update the Properties of a Macro Unit

The Macro Unit Properties dialog box is used to make changes to the editable properties of a selected macro unit, such as its ID number, its name and description, and its labor or work type. Cost properties of macro units are derived from those of the compatible units that make up the macro unit and cannot be changed.

From the list of units in the Units view, select the macro unit that you want to update.
From the File menu, point to Open and then click Unit to open the Macro Unit Properties dialog box.
Or right-click the unit and select Properties from the shortcut menu.
Note: To access this dialog box from the Unit Assistant, right-click the macro unit that you want to edit (either the active unit or a macro unit displayed in the Units Catalog) and select Properties from the shortcut menu. To access this dialog box from the Design Assistant, open the Units Catalog, right-click the macro unit that you want to edit, and select Properties from the shortcut menu.
Make the necessary changes on the appropriate pages and click OK.
